International association of gin lovers

The RPL 438 group "International Association of Gin  Lovers" planned a fictional event targeted towards all lovers of gin. The course objective was to learn "the development of skills and knowledge necessary for successful planning and management of conventions, meetings and expositions in a commercial recreation setting". As a group of 5, we planned all aspects of the fictional event including: a keynote speaker, planned educational sessions and sightseeing tours, gala dinner program and menu, convention hotel amenities and more. We developed a clear logo, slogan and tagline, created registration materials and learned how to follow a "request for proposal". As a class, we each demonstrated a mockup event portraying the information our group had decided on for our presentation.
